Information You Submit
Names, phone numbers, or addresses entered in a search form go to the outside provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. When you send a message, we receive the details you decide to provide and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that can contain an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps us maintain the service and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where applicable.
What We Do With This Data
The limited data described above supports site operation, error repair, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor assemble individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Snohomish County and Washington portals, library collections, public offices, and outside search providers. Their privacy policies govern data submitted on their systems. Sponsored search results are also furnished by a third party and follow that provider's rules.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because visitors do not create accounts here, the site stores no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Your location may give you rights to inspect, correct, or delete personal information held by a website. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, creates specific rights for covered consumer health data, but it is not a universal right to erase public records. We can check our contact mailbox and server logs for the small amount we hold. Use the Contact page for a request. Records held by Silver Firs-area, Snohomish County, or Washington offices remain under the control of those custodians.
Updates to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the site after a revision takes effect signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
